americana
Liner notes
Write an americana song about Dike, Iowa, where the towering Farmers Cooperative grain elevator stands like a monument over the flat, black-loam fields. Sing about walking down Main Street where four kerosene lamps used to light the way back in 1900, and finding peace along the quiet stretches of the Comet Trail. Capture the enduring spirit of this small Grundy County farming town, balancing its deep agricultural roots with the gentle ripples of the fishing ponds at J. H. Roadman Memorial Park.
