Buckeye
The song for Buckeye
Buckeye, IA, USA
americana
Liner notes
Write a reflective americana song about Buckeye, Iowa, a quiet farming town born from the railroad in 1901. The lyrics should capture the stillness of Main Street where the trains used to roll through, surrounded by the flat, endless fields of central Iowa. Emphasize the tight-knit community of fewer than a hundred souls weathering the cold winters and warm summers together, holding onto their rural heritage.
