Allerton
Liner notes
Write a midwest folk song about the resilient spirit of Allerton, Iowa, a town born from the Rock Island Railroad in 1870. Sing about the locals gathering at the Railway Cafe and Lounge or sharing stories down at The Stag Bar and Grill. Mention the historic 1912 Nelson Round Barn standing proud and the memories of the old Allerton World Fair held every September.
