folk
Liner notes
A folk song with vocals and lyrics telling the story of the Amana Colonies and their communal German heritage. The lyrics speak of the Amana Woolen Mill's spinning threads and the ringing bells of the old watch houses. It reflects the enduring spirit of the True Inspiration Congregations who built a life on the Iowa plains.
