Afton, IA, USA
midwest folk
Liner notes
A midwest folk song about Afton, Iowa, where the spirit of an old Scottish melody still lingers on North Douglas Street. Acoustic guitars strum a gentle rhythm reflecting the quiet pride of the East Union Eagles and the friendly faces at Weaver Meats. The lyrics tell a story of a small town built on deep roots, where families gather by the town square splash pad under the wide Iowa sky.
