Liner notes
A midwest folk song about Whiting, Wisconsin, where the Wisconsin River powers the old paper mills. The lyrics tell the story of the mill workers who built their lives around the Whiting-Plover Paper Company and the artesian wells. It captures the quiet pride of a small Portage County village standing strong through fires and changing times.
