New Middletown

Liner notes

Write a rustic country song about the tiny, close-knit community of New Middletown, Indiana, nestled in the hilly terrain of Harrison County. The lyrics should reflect on the town's deep roots since it was first laid out in 1860, capturing the quiet pride of its ninety residents. Mention the familiar sight of the New Middletown Volunteer Fire Department and the daily drives along New Middletown Road. The music should feature acoustic guitars and a gentle fiddle, embodying the peaceful, enduring spirit of this historic small town. Weave these concrete lyric themes into the lyrics: "laid out in eighteen sixty", "the New Middletown Volunteer Fire Department", "driving down New Middletown Road", "ninety souls in the hilly terrain".
